The board members will hold an “information/awareness session” to talk to the public about the duties and responsibilities required for persons interested in serving on the Board of Education, which will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017, at 4:30 p.m. in the 9-R Board Room. Board members will be discussing various topics, including (but not limited to) what makes a good school board member, eligibility, Coherent Governance, Board Policies, and State Statute.
Nomination petitions are available for pick up in the Superintendent’s Office, and must be turned in to Sarah Berggren, 9-R Board Clerk at 201 E. 12th Street by Friday, September 1, 2017.
Election day is November 7, 2017.
