The Durango School District is holding a Job Fair on Tuesday, July 25 at the District Administration Building, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Back-to-school supply lists are designed to facilitate a smooth transition into the new academic year. By detailing the required items for each grade level, these lists eliminate the guesswork, saving you time and effort. By following the list closely, you can ensure that your child has all the necessary materials to thrive academically.

The Summer Bridge program is still in full swing, and the second checkpoint for the completion of the first 80 pages is next week, July 10-13. See the list of check-in venues and times below.

There was a threat to Durango High School this morning. Staff and students at all of our schools are safe.

We are so excited to announce that our Inchy Bookworm Vending Machine is up and running. We had our first award winners test it out! The goal is to promote literacy and excite our students to read. As you can see from the smiles, the goal was met.

Do you or a family member currently have health insurance through Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid Program)?  If so, here’s what you need to know: Everyone with Medicaid and Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) health insurance will need to renew their coverage in the coming year.
