for the past year we've been listening to you to determine the skills we must teach to every one of our students and we're proud to present our portrait of a graduate we've heard what our students need in order to be a to pursue their passions make a positive impact on the world and navigate their Futures we are refining or service in order to Foster these skills and every classroom you're going to decide to get it may not sound like your school experience pause for a minute the picture and education where what students are doing in class each day matters today and their future where they are learning to overcome any barrier that might be in the way today or down the road where they learn to solve real-world problems with Grit and determination and wear what they're learning at school has such value that instead of counting down the minutes to the Bell they get carried away and forget they're at school we've heard the challenge to make school the place where students become empowered graduate is a promise to each student and to our community that our schools will be the places where students learn to dream big and are equipped to chase their purposes and passions successfully we believe in our students we know that they can work with one and to conquer real-world issues we think they're the right people solve problems even adults haven't to be courageous leaders and to take risks that lead to a better world for all of us even as young children our earliest Learners are capable of creativity collaboration and Leadership we will guide them as they develop the dispositions and skills it takes to be successful in reaching their Big Dreams the ability to read write do math and the other subjects is an essential Foundation we want to be even more for them though we want our students and graduates to be set apart when they launch their future careers and become the young adults who shape our world country and our community we're setting out to empower the to be sympathetic collaborators resilient risk-takers agile thinkers creative problem-solvers confident communicators and courageous leaders every student ever deserves a life where they can make positive impacts doing what they love and are good at that's our goal we hope you'll join us and making the portrait of a graduate or reality for all of our students together we can make an impact on her students and intern don't make an impact on us
